Legal notice

Who answers for this site, who owns the data it shows, and what you can expect from us when something is wrong.

Last reviewed: 23 September 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Owner of the service

[PENDIENTE: datos del responsable]
  • Legal name / full name:
  • Tax number (NIF / CIF):
  • Address:
  • Contact email address:
  • Company register details (if a company): Commercial Registry, volume, folio, page

These details are mandatory: article 10 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) (opens in a new tab) requires any information society service provider to make them available “permanently, easily, directly and free of charge”. Without them, this legal notice does not comply.

Trading name: CityVibe. Domain: cityvibe.guide.

2. What this site is

CityVibe is an event catalogue: we collect cultural listings published by public administrations and ticketing platforms, sort them, translate them into seven languages and show them together.

We are not the organiser of any event. We do not sell tickets, we do not manage capacity, we do not take payment, we do not issue refunds and we are not a party to the relationship between you and whoever is organising. When you press a ticket link you leave CityVibe for the organiser's or the ticket seller's site, and their terms apply there.

3. Who owns the event information

Its source, not us. Every event in this catalogue comes from an identified third party: a city council, a provincial council, a regional government or a platform. The rights over the text, the dates, the prices and the links belong to whoever published them.

What we contribute — the selection, the structure, the translations, the summaries and the pages — is our own work, and the database is protected by the “sui generis” right of article 133 of the Spanish Copyright Act (opens in a new tab).

Every event page names its source and, when the source declares one, its licence. The full list is in Data sources. Our rules, which are not decorative:

  • We publish a source's text only if its licence allows commercial use.
  • We only retell in our own words the text of sources whose licence expressly allows modification. For the rest we translate faithfully and nothing more.
  • We copy photographs from no source. We neither host them, nor hotlink them, nor make thumbnails. None of our sources grants us any rights over images.
  • We always credit the source by name and link, as CC BY 4.0 requires in its clause 3(a)(1) (opens in a new tab).

4. Errors, changes and liability

The data comes from third parties and changes without telling us. A concert is postponed, a price goes up, a venue closes. We do what is reasonable to reflect it — we check the sources every three hours — but the information that counts is always the organiser's. Confirm there before travelling or paying.

We are not liable for damage arising from third-party information, from the service being temporarily unavailable, or from the content of the sites we link to. Outbound links do not imply that we endorse, control or supervise their content (articles 16 and 17 LSSI (opens in a new tab)).

5. If something published is yours, or is wrong

Write to [PENDIENTE: correo de contacto] with the URL and what is happening. We take down or correct well-founded reports diligently: that is exactly what article 16 LSSI expects of a provider. It does not have to be a formal complaint; a clear email is enough.

If you are an organiser and would rather not appear, say so and we will take you out. We will not argue.

6. Using the site

You may read, link and share. You may quote us. What you may not do is systematically download the whole catalogue to rebuild it elsewhere: that collides with the “sui generis” right of article 133 of the Copyright Act. If you want our data for something, ask — the normal answer is yes.

Our own crawler behaves just as well towards everyone else: see CityVibeBot.

7. Applicable law

Spanish law. For any dispute, the courts of the owner's domicile, unless the user is a consumer, in which case the mandatory jurisdiction rules of the consolidated text of the General Act for the Defence of Consumers and Users (opens in a new tab) apply.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (opens in a new tab).
