36th Autumn Old and Antique Book Fair

The Autumn Fair devoted to old and antique books returns to the centre of Madrid from 24 September to 12 October 2026 in its 36th edition, where books can be purchased at reasonable prices as well as authentic bibliographical gems. As always, LIBRIS, the Association of Antiquarian Booksellers, has organised this fair in conjunction with Madrid City Council. For yet another year, the Paseo de Recoletos hosts this fair in which the bookshops start on Cibeles and reach Calle Almirante. Specialised bookshops from all over Spain will participate, displaying all types of antique books, first editions, original manuscripts or engravings and rare or out of print editions. Visitors will be able to find a variety of diverse copies at prices starting at one euro. Other bookshops associated with LIBRIS will also take part, such as Librería Salambó, Librería del Prado, Librería Arenal 21, Librería El Asilo del Libro, Librería Hallazgo, Librería Anticuaria Toledo, Librería Itziar Arranz, Luis Llera Libros, Librería Santa Bárbara, Librería El Filobiblión, Librería Sekhmet, Librería J.Cintas, Ortiz Marcos – Libros antiguos, Arranca Thelma Libros, Librería Luces de Bohemia, Librería García Prieto and Librería Comic Hunter, among many others. Since 1989, the Autumn Old and Antique Book Fair has been organised by Madrid City Council in conjunction with LIBRIS, the Association of Antiquarian Booksellers, which currently has 38 booksellers throughout Spain.
